Know the Founder – Shaleni Banthia

β€’ Shaleni Banthia began her fitness journey at the age of 42 β€” an age when many believe it’s too late to start. She proved that it’s never too late to transform your life.

β€’Once battling chronic asthma, she overcame it through sheer determination and discipline, becoming her fittest self before stepping into the world of fitness professionally.

β€’As a passionate vegetarian and fitness coach, she noticed a major gap in the market β€” a lack of truly healthy, tasty, vegetarian food options. This insight sparked the idea of Oatlane.

β€’She introduced the concept of smoothie bowls to Delhi β€” a city where this trend was virtually unheard of β€” with the goal of revolutionizing how people perceive healthy eating. Her mission was clear: to build the best brand in the business and prove that nutritious food can be delicious too.
Β
β€’Her dedication to fitness earned her four national-level achievements:
Β
-2019: National record for holding a wall sit for 1 minute with 100 kg weight.
-2023: National records for 67 standard pushups in 1 minute and 55 decline pushups in 1 minute.
Β
-2025: A dream come true β€” she was featured in the Limca Book of Records for being the only Indian woman to perform the maximum number of pushups in one minute β€” a goal she had set back in her 7th grade.

I started at 42 with asthma and a dream β€” to prove that it’s never too late to rewrite your story. Through discipline, passion, and purpose, I turned my challenges into records, and my lifestyle into Oatlane β€” where health meets taste, and every bowl tells a story of strength.
